Gone with the old, a new beginning.

In the opening of his diary, the great Charles Pooter says, "Why should I not publish my diary? I have often seen reminiscences of people I have never even heard of, and I fail to see — because I do not happen to be a 'Somebody' — why my diary should not be interesting."

It's true, isn't it? All the blogs flowing around the internet right now will do Mr. Pooter proud. Reading some of these online journals, I do find quite a handful of Mr. Pooter's modern reincarnations. So, in keeping with that tradition, I hope I won't be a bore~

Regarding the title of the blog: Must confess I am not an art student (I am actually reading history for my M.A.), and there won't be anything related to art here. However, I do like the sound of the word sketchbook more than the plain sounding notebook. So here it is, my odd explaination behind my seemingly wrong choice of word.
